Cobb Association of REALTORS was founded in 1954 to promote the highest good for customers, clients and the community through the ethical practice of Real Estate. Today CAR is comprised of nearly 2000 agents, brokers and affiliate members in and around Cobb County.
The organization provides:
- Educational programs
- Promotion of the REALTOR Code of Ethics
- Community awareness programs
- Support of charitable organizations
- General camaraderie among members
- Access to health insurance, disability insurance and credit union services
The Cobb Association of REALTORS owns its facility, an 8,400 square-foot Williamsburg style office building at the corner of the South Marietta Parkway and Manget Street near the Marietta Square. The Association occupies the first floor and contains office space for five staff members, a classroom, a Board of Directors room, a research room and REALTOR library. The second floor is leased office space, but is designed to house additional offices for the Association when needed.
