Cobb Association of REALTORS® OffersNAR REQUIRED Ethics Training Course NAR requires that each REALTOR® member take the NAR Ethics Course once every 4 years. We are now approaching the end of the 2nd four year period, so all REALTORS® must take the Ethics course by the end of 2008. COURSES BEING OFFERED BY The Cobb Association of REALTORS®(3 HOURS cONTINUING eD)cOST: $10.00 PRIOR TO aUGUST 1$20.00 AFTER aUGUST 1 Tuesday, July 15, 2008 6:00 pm – 9:15 pmThursday, August 21, 2008 9:30 am – 12:45 pmTuesday, September 23, 2008 6:00 pm – 9:15 pmMonday, October 20, 2008 9:30 am – 12:45 pmTuesday, November 18, 2008 6:00 pm – 9:15 pmTuesday, December 16, 2008 6:00 pm – 9:15 pmFriday, December 19, 2008 9:30 am – 12:45 pm You may register on line for any of these classes by going to WWW.COBBREALTOR.COM IF YOU HAVE ATTENDED A CAR NEW MEMBER ORIENTATION since January 2005, you have satisfied NAR’s Ethics course requirement for the second four-year period. ETHICS COURSE OFFERED ON REALTOR.ORG You may also take this course on-line by going to www.realtor.org and clicking on the Education Link. Then click on Quadrennial Online Ethics Course. To prove that you have satisfied the requirement you must send the Association a copy of the certificate you receive upon completion of the course. THE COURSE ON REALTOR.ORG DOES NOT QUALIFY FOR CONTINUING ED CREDIT FOR YOUR R.E. LICENSE. The Cobb Association of REALTORS® offers a 3 hour on-line or CD-Rom Ethics course for $30.00. Please contact the Association office at 770-422-3900 if you would like more information on this course. Failure to complete the required periodic ethics training shall be considered a violation of a membership duty for which REALTOR® membership shall be suspended until such time as the required training is completed.
