CAR provides four levels of membership:- REALTOR® - Anyone holding an active Georgia Real Estate Broker or salesperson license and associated with a REALTOR® member of a Board or Association.
- Affiliate Member - Individuals who, while not engaged in the Real Estate profession, have interest in the Real Estate field and are in sympathy with the objectives of the Association.
- Secondary Member - Those REALTOR® members who hold Primary Membership with another Board/Association that wish to obtain membership in the Cobb Association of REALTORS® may do so by applying and paying for the local portion of dues.
- Honorary Members - Granted for notable service to the Real Estate profession in the Cobb Association of REALTORS®.
The Cobb Association of REALTORS®, Jeanne Linden Scholarship Fund, is a voluntary, non tax deductible donation anyone can make. All proceeds go to a scholarship fund set up by Past President Jeanne Linden in 2001. Every year the Cobb Association of REALTORS® gives a minimum of $4,000.00 in scholarship monies to deserving students for undergradutate studies. CAR accepts donations year round and it is also listed as a seperate item on all CAR yearly renewal dues.
The Georgia REALTOR® Political Action Committee (RPAC) is a voluntary, non-profit, unincorporated membership consisting of REALTORS and others interested in protecting the free rights of property ownership in the United States and Georgia. As a Political Action Committee, RPAC complies with all federal and state campaign contribution laws. The voluntary contributions which RPAC receives are used to support candidates for federal and state office who have demonstrated their support for the preservation of real property rights and the real estate profession.

To accomplish this, the Cobb Association of REALTORS® shall: Offer to the membership the best Educational Programs available. Promote the highest degree of integrity through constant adherence to the REALTOR® Code of Ethics. Build community awareness of our ongoing involvement in the political environment, protecting the basic American right of private property ownership. - Build camaraderie, lasting friendships, and a spirit of cooperation among our peers.
